2. Which is the most common size of bookmarks?

Regardless of the size of the book, or magazine, standard Bookmarks are typically 38mm x 177mm, 50mm x 200mm, or 48mm x 210mm.

3. How can I easily upload my own design for bookmarks?

With GotPrint it's easy to upload your new bookmarks design. You can simply go to our Bookmarks page and click on: “Upload Your Design”. We accept files in the following formats: TIF, TIFF, PDF, EPS, AI, PSD, BMP, GIF, JPG, and PNG.

You can then choose the size, paper stock, colour options, and quantity you want.

Finally a quick and convenient option we provide is our Instant Online Proof, where you can see exactly how your business card will print before approving it.

If you prefer to have your card more closely inspected, choose the Manual Proof and one of our trained staff will check your file carefully for a small fee.

4. What is bleed?

Bleed is the portion of the product that will be trimmed off when it is cut to the final size.

We print your product on an oversized sheet that gets trimmed down, so it's required that the images extend beyond the trim zone/line. That extra margin is what we refer to as the bleed, and is used to guarantee that you don't have white edges on your product when it is trimmed to final size.

To ensure you submit your file(s) correctly, be sure to download our Templates as they are already set up with the needed guidelines.

5. Can I create my own bookmarks from scratch?

Very easily! Just use our free online design tool, Advanced Designer. You'll be able to original designs just like a pro. We also offer a variety of predesigned backgrounds to help you get started.

7. Will my design be checked before printing?

If you choose the Manually Processed Proof option, we will check your files according to our guidelines and send you a link to PDF proof for your approval.

If you choose the Instant Online Proof option, you will have the opportunity to view your proof instantly on screen for approval. Bleed, trim, pixelation, and low resolution issues are still checked however.

8. How long do I have to wait to receive my bookmarks?

Once your order is approved for print and paid, the turnaround time for your product starts.

Normally our printing time is only 2 working days for 300 g Glossy 2 Sides + UV High Gloss Coating. Additional options may result in 1 additional working day. For any other paper stocks or options please see our Turnaround Times.

Shipping time begins when your order is done printing and ready to ship. Shipping time is in addition to the print time and our products are delivered within 2-4 working days with our fast, yet cost-effective, standard shipping.

You will receive an email notification as soon as it is ready. The email will include the tracking number so that you can keep track of the progress of your package. Shipping time varies depending on the destination and the shipping method.

9. Can I order bookmarks quantities that are not specified on the website?

You can only order quantities that are listed on our website. In order to reach larger quantities, simply add more sets to your order.

10. What types of payments do you accept to order my bookmarks?

Depending from which country you are ordering, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and Maestro. We also accept Sofort and iDeal.

Maestro may not be available through all financial institutions. Should you encounter any billing problems using this method, please check with your bank to ensure that your card is authorised for this type of payment.

If your credit card is declined, this can be caused by either insufficient funds or a simple data entry error. If that happens, you promptly will receive an email to alert you.
